The Original Industry Stool.
The construction design of this stool goes back to the 1920s, and it was considered one of the most frequently used pieces of industrial furniture in the period of manufacture oriented industrial production. The ROWAC company in Chemnitz manufactured this kind of furniture formerly, the rare originals of which may only be found in auctions of vintage furniture.
But it wasn’t just a nostalgic whim that motivated us to revive this furniture. Its charm lies in its purity, the clear and authentic construction. Since the 1960s it has been produced unchanged and in the best industrial quality in a Swabian industrial furniture factory. The stools are equipped with solid rubber feet; the slightly concave wood seat is built up in layers. The top layer is made of untreated oak. The patina which the seat will quickly acquire can be avoided by oiling or waxing the surface.
