Rinse cloth cellulose

This extremely practical and highly absorbent sponge cloth - made from 70% wood cellulose and 30% cotton - may seem like a relatively recent invention, but it was patented in Sweden in 1920. There, as in all of Scandinavia, such cloths have since been found in every household in several versions: plain, colorful, with and without patterns. The patent for the material is now in German hands, and the sponge-like, durable fabric is also manufactured in Germany and processed into this dishcloth in Finland. It contains neither dampening agents nor plastic grids, which is why it can simply be disposed of in the compost when its time has come. There it decomposes quickly - after just eight weeks, the dishcloth is about 80% degraded. You can clean it in the washing machine at up to 40 °C or simply in the dishwasher (on the top shelf).
