The book of colors

Our world is not just red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo or violet - the seven colors of the rainbow show only a fraction of our color spectrum. 133 hues from nature and human civilization make up the spectrum of this book: each color is printed on the right-hand page of the book. On the left-hand page is an illustration of a plant, an animal or an object from our everyday lives that corresponds in terms of color and content. We all know cardinal red, carmine red or saffron yellow, but who knows why flamingos are pink or the moon is white? The text under the illustration explains why the colors are called that and what connects them to the pictures in a very catchy and poetic way. Not just for children.
